With the increase in studies of space, everyone wants to include this topic in their talks or products whether it is the analog with orbits or liquor company claiming to import their products from galaxy. There are few such wines and beers but others are just playing with our fascination. Veteran Fritz Maytag of the legendary Anchor Brewing Company commented about three liquor brands which claimed to give heavenly treat to their liquor. First, RED FLYER, the maker Wimbledon Wine says that the wine is “From the darkest reaches of the universe comes this red wine invasion,” he says that there is an ingredient in the wine called Clone X, which he has ‘smuggled from outer space’. However, according to Maytag this is ‘bullshit’ treat. Second, TOSA SPACE SAKE, which pleased Maytag. Last October, Japan’s Kochi prefecture and 19 local breweries paid the Russian Federal Space Agency to carry some yeast into orbit. Sake containing the astro-yeast hit store shelves in April. Last but not the least is CROP CIRCLE BEER by UK-based Hop Back brewery, made with wheat from Wiltshire (a popular tourist spot for aliens). Maytag says, ‘It tickles my fancy.
